Should I get the SSR Gt1's in 18" ????

I need a summer setup in 18" and I love the GT1 for the price, strength and look. Tirerack has them for $399 per wheel with Potenzas S03 $190 per or Continetal Sportcontact for $125. Reason Im asking is because I don't know if there is a similar looking wheel for cheaper since I will be keeping my SSR Comps with Michelin A/S and the stock setup so 3 sets of wheels

this is how it will look

My favorite rim

www.washingtontire.com has the very similar Nakayama GT-R's for $205

I just got a set of 17's (from another place) for my 1st gen (4 bolt) of the Nakayama's and really like them.

I don't know Lou, do you want your car to look like this?

Everybody in our town is gonna be rolling on GT1's. As for the imitations, I know you're not gonna get those because they'll probably be bent in a few days, esp with all the roads after this winter.

Lou, how do you get that TireRack picture in a post? everytime I try I have no luck. am able to save to my Cdrive, but can never get it to transfer to a post. I always get this message:
vBulletin Message
The file that you have tried to attach is too big. The maximum size is 1 bytes.

19" in this city NEVER 18"s are pushing it.....the GT3 are HOTT but 25 lbs. in 18" wheel would slow my car drastically the Gt1 are a mere 17.5 same as the Volks TE-37 in 18x 7.5 but the Volks are in the $500 range

For the money the GT1s are the best quality good looking forged wheel you can get. Just don't know if I should pay that type of money while the Ace Mantas can be bought for $1200 wheels and tires

I say get them! Those would be my second or third choice behind the 18x7 OZ superleggeras. The GT1s are hot.

you should've went 18's in the first place and #1 in performance tire right now for me are the nitto 555's or the toyo t1-s. best stickiness for your dollar. The potenza's are just too much
