Well, a CAI should give you a little better performance than a short ram. As for which brand is better, a lot of people here would say to get the AEM CAI. Bypass valve is optional. But I got the Weapon-R short ram just because the filter is so easy to get to and clean when compared to a CAI.

well it depends if you want it for performance or sound or value or how easy to put on
the easiest to put on is the Short ram
the value it's gonna be short ram
the sound short ram(it's louder)(if your into that)
but numbers on the dyno your cold air intake will win there.
