short air intake

anyone have the short intake installed on their cl's? just wondering how the performance is. i'm still debating whether to get the CAI or just the short one from AEM. i know if i get the CAI, i'd constantly be worried of the filter getting wet or the filter not being tight enough that it would fall off. a mild case of OCD, i guess. so, anyone with the short intake from AEM or any manufacturer, feedback, please!

I have the weapon-R intake. It sounds evil and really turns some heads. Although the foam element that came with it I replaced with a K&N cone filter. Here is a pic when I first got it, Ill take some new ones later today for you.

thanks Code3Smith! did you notice any change.....a little more pull...better gas mileage? i know it makes a deeper sound because i have one on my civic. i noticed an increase with the gas mileage on my civic. was just wondering if it did make a diff on the cl as well. i guess it would, huh!! but not as great as the CAI.

Can you switch back to OE air? If I have to take it to DMV for check or smog I would like to switch back?

yes you can. with the civic it's kinda simple....i've switched it a couple of times because of the emissions inspection (but i didn't re-install the resonator). but one time, i forgot to remove it (the intake) but passed both safety and emissions inspection. so after that, i never switched it back anymore.
