Sheetmetal too thin!!!
This is my 5 car from honda- Acura.
I have been a loyal fan since I was kid. But something has got to give. I recently was getting out of my car, where there was a high curb...with a tree nearr my door, so I had to squeeze out. I lost my balance and brush up against the car, pushing the sheetmetal at the highest point and it poped right back. Didn't notice anything, until a few days later and realized a small ding and below it a crinkle in the sheetmetal.
Sorry no photo's.....
I'm so pissed!!!

Well, could go back to using the steel in 40-50s US tanks, but I don't think you would be too thrilled with the power-to-weight ratio from the added weight...
You could always add an "outer roll cage"... picture floating around somewhere...
