for what type of bullitens? - why would you take all the bullitens you can find to your dealer, drive your car instead of trying to find problems with it (are you a car show judge or something?)

p.s. i think the dealer has all the bullitens already, thats why they are the dealer

Help out! He wants info and that's why we're here. Russiandude do a search, there are moon-roof, wiper and a few other small one's out there. You'll have to prove the acuator one. Good luck.

I see your point, he does need to be a bit more specific. But I would never have thought that there was a problem with my actuator if it hadn't been suggested that it needed to be checked, same goes for a little moonroof sound (thought that would be normal). RD...don't just give um a list, see what YOU need and do it that way. No need to waste anyone's time for nothing.

My sun-roof rattles when its closed but open for the sun to shine through.
I want to get it fixed, will I need any prove that there is a service bulliten for this problem??
What do I say to the dealer ? What if my dealer starts denying and be like "We did not find anything wrong with your sun-roof, huh-kh-huh"

no, you can have it repaired under warranty, also your vehicle has a 48/50 warranty, there does not need to be a bulliten on a problem for it to be covered, also a bulliten does not imply any warranty, it is simply a tool to help a technician repair a vehicle give your dealer a call and schedule an appt, just tell them what it is doing, and i suggest you show one of the techinicians the problem, take him (or her) for a roadtest and let them here the rattle
if you can duplicate the problem for them, you will not see a "could not duplicate" on your invoice

Ok, thanks for the info, but it is surprising to me that I still need to duplicate the problem with rattling sun-roof, I thought it was a common problem in our cars( not just common, I think every single CL's sun-roof rattles more or less), and dealers have the fix for it(some kind of tape). does not make sense to duplicate sun-roof rattle on every CL, it just got to get fixed, that's all.

with any noise its best to show the technician even if it is a common problem, it helps with fix it right the first time
better for the customer and the dealer

cool, I was just checking, because I saw some members complaining that some dealers were reluctant to fix rattling sun-roof, telling customers that everything is fine. You brought a good point, that they need to go for the ride with me....

Hey RussianDude...this is a VERY WELL KNOWN problem with our cars. I just got mine done at Acura of Boston 2 weeks ago. I drove right in to the dealer (no appt.) and said, "I have the squeaky sunroof issue" They said, "No problem" and it was done in 10 minutes..perfectly. Just go to your dealer, they know damn well what that squeak is.
