Serious question

i have been watchin auto racing lately and see that tire manufacturers are making a big difference in the performance of some teams do u think a manufacturer's performance in racing is a direct reflection of how their street tires perform i mean i would think that some race spec r&d has been taken in consideration when street tires are made for the record in f1 michelin sucks donkey balls and bridgestones kick ass what do u people think

I really don't think so, i mean Firestone is the sole supplier for Indy Car and their street tires were exploding, and who buys Firestone High Performance tires ?

I had a set of SZ50 Firestone tires, those tires gripped awesome, but VERY noisy....This was on a previous car.
