semi trucks on the highway and their sh!tty driving

i dont know if u guys notice this, but i take the highway to work everyday and these semi drivers suck. almost got in 2 accidents in one week because of them.

what happens is i will be in one lane, the semi will be a little bit farther ahead of me but in the lane to my right, then they just turn into your lane and put their signal on at the same time, forcing u to either slam on the brakes or swerve over into the lane he was in.

i swear to god it pisses me off. i mean it happens all the time, it wasnt just these 2 particular semis.

anyone else notice this

Happens all the time.

Truck drivers, semis and big rigs, are the worse most dangerous drivers on the road and have the best potential for the fatals.

Old folks never drive these either. Mostly men and they're ok drivers but the it's the vehicle....

The enemy... especially gravel trucks... they're the worst. I also stay as far away from them as possible.

Yeah I try to predict when they are going to do that. Usually if you see a big rig riding someone's ass they are getting ready to swing out. It really sucks here because the Semi speed limit is 10 mph slower than the car speed limit and they like to get beside each other and block the road. I also listen for the whisle from the turbo. It's an easy way to tell if they are getting on it and trying to jam you.

They do that because if they were to wait for enough room to gradually change lanes, they would never get the opportunity. Truckers can only wait until there is enough room and then quickly change. Think about this, If a trucker keeps his signal on to let the other drivers know they are going to change lanes, most drivers will speed up to prevent that because they don't want a big rig directly in front of them.

joe, i know exactly what you are saying and i agree with you 100%, it just sucks that they have no choice, because i bet you alot of those decisions end up cutting a car off and possibly causing an accident.

might not happen often but im sure it happens.

Your an idiot

Sure some semi drivers are bad and somehow that looks bad for all drivers. Almost every accident that a semi is involved in could have been prevented if all other drivers knew what it takes to control a semi. Most drivers try to allow enough room infront of them to be safe but when they do a car will jump right in front of them.
