Sell the V1?

Ok guys, most of you know that im in some point trouble with my license, so Im thinking about selling my V1 since I really cant speed or do anyhting wrong again for the next year or two. Do i get rid of it and get the new one that hopefully will come out in a couple yrs or do i keep it just in case?

Let me know what u guys think? Oh I have 6 points and 2 pending tickets which will bring my points to 10 and once i reach 12 im done.

I'd keep it. I mean, you have it... why sell it and buy another one at full price down the road when yours will be upgradable for a fraction of the cost of a new one?

Just take it easy and keep the V1 as extra protection....

I disagree why have a radar and doing the limit

you can have money in your pocket to drink your blues away and also help me save my license in the process

Let's be honest... if he has been speeding then he will still speed... so you may as well keep the V1 for protection.

BTW, if this is going to turn into a sell thread it will be moved, so the ones looking for prices have been removed..... so stick to the topic or PM him if you're making an offer

yea but Juniorbean he has 10 points the V1 is protection but he it hasnt worked for him so far so what more protection can save him.

at this point it time for some serious measures

I have know people that sold their cars and bought trucks in order to save their licenses

I was making a joke about selling it to me cause I can buy a new one, for him if it hasnt worked than its time for something else and it doesnt mean look around you at all times

True... and I agree... but at the same time he may as well just keep it since he already owns it. If he was asking if he should buy one it would be different, but he's already shelled out the dough... so it doesn't make much sense to sell it, then buy another one down the road when he already has one.....

But Junior, another one down the road would be a updated one (hopefully a completely new style) and I prob wont lose that much money if I sell mine now. Also this is the 2nd V1 I have boughten bc I after someone wrecked my maxima, I was soo pissed I sold everyhting out of the car.

Sell it, pay off the judge, or get ready for the 10k a year to insure your car. Lucky for us we have so many people committing insurance fraud here in NJ.

Half the time I use it for entartainment purposes only. On base it's "illegal" to have radar detectors so I drive 55 anyway, but it's fun to watch the MP's try to hide and gun speeders.

My 100 in a 55 finally went off my record a few weeks ago. Whew... almost back to the land of sane insurance rates.

Funny enough the fine was $300 so I sent in a check and the state sent $100 back! Trooper wrote the ticket as a generic speeding with a note about the speed... he appreciated I stopped on the side of the road next to him so he could walk over and hand me a ticket.
