Seat warmers on 6 speeds

I just noticed the other day that the seat warmer for the passenger only heats on the butt section, while the driver side heats on the butt and back section. Is this the same for everyone else?

Yes, that’s normal for all CL’s & TL’s because of the side airbag sensor on the passenger side.

My wife just said to me yesteday morning:

"I don't care how much you paid for this car. Whatever it was it's totally worth it alone for these seat warmers."

It's nice to warm one's ass in these cold mornings!

All but the 99s do that since we don't have side airbags.

no no no...it's only on the 6-speeds. The clutch wasn't working right when there was a warmer on the back of the passenger seat so they had to remove it.

Yeah, except she always leaves it turned on after she gets out of the car. I wish it turned off automatically.

Yeah, I'm spoiled now with the seat warmers.

I don't think I can ever drive another car without seat warmers (at least not during wintertime).

I know that's right. Normally, my car sits in the garage at night, but lately I've been finishing some woodwork in there as part of some rennovations to my house. Besides needing room to work, the stains and varnishes give off some fumes that I don't really want to have access to my paint. So, the car sits outside some nights. Of course, here in Chicago, it's gotten down to the single digits at night, and sitting on cold leather seats in the winter is not fun.

Seat heaters make us very happy.

Normal.
They're designed to cycle on and off.

So which models have the seat warmers and which don't?

I know my 98 doesn't have them... that's what remote starters are for though

i think it was a part of the premium package. My 98 3.0 CL-P has heated seats.

Yeah... wow... I've used mine.... uhhh twice. Once to see if it works, and then once one of the rare times it was parked outside at night. Weather in L.A. doesn't allow me to use some of the coolest features of the car . It sure was nice that one time I used it though! Girlfriend loved it too!
