Seat Creaking - Finally Fixed... For now

Well, they replaced the entire seat frame of my driver's seat. The service manager showed me the old frame and indeed, there was a busted weld. This is not a slight squeak or rattle, it was a LOUD creaking sound. IF anyone else has this, take it to your dealer and ask for a new seat frame. I'll keep you guys posted and we'll see if it comes back or not.

G-Tech (Full tank of gas, 60F, VSA off, SS) - 5.93 seconds
V-1 Hardwired, Comptech Sways on order

Very disturbing!!! The creaking is back, sorta. It doesn't happen the same way, but last night when I was driving home I heard it again, JUST as loud. CREEEAAAAAAKK!!! Maybe 3 or 4 times, now it's gone again. I am wondering if it's the rails on the bottom of the seat?

heh, eric is asking if there was lateral/forward movement before the seat started creaking.

Oh, hehehe, I knew something was up.

Ummmmm, ya, definitely. There still is movement in the seat, I think all CL seats have it, none of them are really firmly bolted down. I went and sat in 2 brand new ones, no creaking, but lots of sway.
