I saw copland007 today in Waltham, MA. I was heading back from errands at lunch with my girl, and I spotted a Silver TL-S with a bodykit waiting to pull out of a side street. As I came closer, I realized it was copland007, and my girl is like..."Who the hell is that? Is he from Maine?" I was like, "Yep!" I don't think he saw me, though. Kit looked sweet.

I get excited when I see 2nd gen CLs on the road too. Never seems to be anyone that cares though. I wave and they ignore me.

Now that I have the Acura-CL.com license plate frame maybe I will meet more friends from the forum.

I do have AHOO sometimes parking in my building lot in Bedford NH but he's never online anymore.

 

There is a silver 2001-2 CL-S that parks in the same garage as me in Cambridge, MA and I have never seen the guy. Doesn't look like he has done much to his car (stock on the outside anyway) but I feel like leaving him a note and telling him to check out the forum. Man...this place takes over your brain! I feel the need to spread the word!!!

I work up in Chelmsford, live in Waltham. I used to live with mother in Maine, thus the plates. Never got them changed.

And yah the grill looked sharp

My ex-wife went to Colby for a year...Waterville's a splendid place. I have spent many a weekend driving the Maine Turnpike.

 

Thats funny I live in Waltham too. One time I saw a nice looking CL-S on main st but thats about it. I live right on moody.

 

I ate lunch at Watch City last Friday with tmk70. Gotta love Moody!!

I live a block up from watch city brewery. I live above Solea restaurant. We usually walk down past the brewery to the Skellig for some black and tans

 

blackmagiCL_S and I have been to The Skellig with our girls after work. Bass and some bangers & mash.

 

I'd be up for a Skellig meet some evening after work... some Thursday night or something. Gotta have a few pops on a Thursday!

Lots of forums (or oldschool mailing lists) have some sort of card or flyer.

I would be neat if someone posted a flyer that anyone could print out and stick under the windsheilds of CL's.

 

I put them on cars all the time, but nobody has ever showed up here that I know of. I think Kvit made them up a while back!

ha ha haI laugh every time I see that commercial. It IS a little funny to some people that we love our cars so much. My fiance' thinks I am a nut and laughs at me when I mention going to CL/TL meets.

 

That commercial actually embaressed me. It made me think am I that lame? And the last time I saw it I was watching the sox with my dad and thinking he was thinking "my son is as lame as these guys" Between the piles of my OEM parts in the garage, my semi riced out car, the boxes of new parts that seem to arrive at out house daily, and the fact that people are always showing up at my place in similar cars to have me work on them. Yeah I guess I am lame.
