For the sake of us Northerners!

All you Southerners

Please stop posting pictures of shiny CLS'. It is killing me to see mine covered with road salt and other crap and then you post all these shiny black cars - I'm dying here. Be a little considerate!

Haha There has to be something good about living down in FL and so far the only thing i have found is the fact that there is no snow so no salt either. I just moved from NJ and was up there over xmas break and my car looked like crap. Sorry about yours but im sure the nasty salt will be gone soon.

Here's a pic that I just took about 10 minutes ago. It's in the low 40s (feels like about -20 to me!!) and there's a chance of SNOW tonight!!! Low in the upper 20s!

See, we get crappy weather here too!!

I might have you beat this time - snow all weekend - 40 degrees and slush today - I think I drained and entire washer tank in one day - when it dries it will be white!

Come on guys, where's your balls?

I've washed my car last week when it was 33°F and before I could towel off the trunk the water had iced right up. I was sponging (hot water) soap on so fast that I didn't notice that I had gashed my finger tip on the "S" on the trunk lid. And I'm wondering where is this pink stuff (blood) coming from! Main problem is the thin sheet of ice forming on my driveway which had some soap added in for some slick going. But hey, no scratched rims for me.

Here are a few shots of mine from the other day.
It's a little more clean right now because I took it to one of those "Touch FREE" places the other night.

No scratched RIMS either.

Made a tough decision this fall and decided not to bath my CL-S in all that road salt. I was able to drive it up to about Mid December before the weather got too bad. Now the countdown continues. I figure I have about two and a half months left before I can put my baby back out on the road again.

Now is the time for all those northern 4x4 SUVs to be put to work. Or move south, I did, liked the winters here and decided to stay (from Chicago). Summers are terrible HOT, can't win.

Yep, weather down here is terrible. Had to wash all three of my babies this weekend. It was miserable in the cold 69 degree temp.

I have (4) 16” BLIZZAK snow tires mounted for the winter.

See all that white stuff on the ground.
Something you don’t have to worry about in Texas.

We get snow in Texas too, just not as much .... Thank God! I lived in Delaware for 8 years and hated the winters. I certainly don't miss it.

After this weekend my car is going to be so filthy that GTO's post will look pristine. I'm going to take pics and re-win the dirty car contest!
