Whats up my former fello CL owners. I have come to announce that I have sold my beloved CL-s. It was a great car. A fantastic car. One of a kind. So what did i exchange this thing of beauty for? An M5. Thats right folks, I am now the proud owner of a fully loaded, 20000 miles, bluemetallic/beige 400 horse m5. I bought it from a dealer in GERMANY, and saved a shitload. I am flying there, then coming back on a ship (with the car...saves the shipping cost, from 2900, to 400.) In case any of you are at all interested, the site is www.mobile.de On the bottom, click on ENGLISH, and the search for your car. I had a choice. It was either a 2000 S8, 360 horse, 30000 miles, for 30 GRAND!!!!, or my M5 for 50. I decided to spring for my savings and get the M5. I will have it in 3 weeks and will buy a camera to post the pics. Just wanted to let all my CL owners to have the same opportunity.

 

Please do post pics. What are you going to have to do to make sure its US legal as far as inspection goes?

 

M5's are legal as they are. They come from germany unchanged (except the speed limiter, which they down to what is it...155? I am going to remove it anyway. FUCK THE USA!! )
I called my friend at a BMW dealership, and he told me that they do the same thing with their delivery program...just limiter. So, I am one happy mo fo. Hope someone else will do this...I mean an almost brand new (18000 miles) AUDI S8, for 32 grand...thats 1 less than the CLS is selling in NY. Gotta love it. I do miss my cl though.
