Sounds good Steve, go chase 12's ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
And an hour is NOTHING to drive to a track. I drive my mustang over 3 hours each way to get to the road course, beat the shit out of it, then drive right back home. If a 10 year old Ford can do it why not a new Acura???
And if you got real tires traction isnt a problem.

I'm pretty sure a S/C'ed CL-6 would run 12s if it could get traction. Remember...allmotor's time of 12.9 was run with 347whp. Additionally, his 13.5 N/A run had a significantly better 1/8 mile time than his 12.9 turbo time.
His 12.9 was on street tires. I have access to 16" Hoosier DR's anytime I'd like so 12s really isn't that out of reach IMO.
Add the intercooler and a 35 shot and mid to low 12s

With a car built up similar to scalberts, you would definately be in the 12's, possibly mid 12's with traction. As for the 35 shot, that would be a good addition. However, keep in mind that the emanage can only run one map at a time, and that means you will have to create two seperate maps and alternate every time you hit the track. Not a big deal but a hassle nonetheless.

I got a offered a deal on the new CL-S that I would have a very hard time passing up. Also, what else out there that offers all the amenities as the CL-S and also has the same performance potential, for the same price?

TLs are a tough car to modify....you can hardly ever get the chance to drive it.

Wow even some of the OG's are heading over to the manual side. A sad day indeed.
Glad to see you're sticking with the CL though. Even if it is with that other drivetrain.
