Today at 1:50 Eastern time Mazda will unveil the production RX-8 live on the web from the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

THe RX8 is sweet. I would love to have that as a real sports car. The 6 is also a pretty hot looking car. Mazda has done a pretty good job in updateing their lineup and making some nice looking cars to boot! The 6 has more performance than the IS300 and if it has handling similar to the acclaimed mazda wagon it should be a tight little ride.

I'm going to have to wait until I see the RX8 in person. At first I thought it looked pretty good, but the more I see it now, the weirder it looks. I just love the tranny though, but we'll have to wait and see how it actually performs.

What performace spec, how much does it wheigh.

162lbft of torque and 250 HP at 8500 sounds like another S2000, naybe a bit slower...
