yea the cl unfortunately is a boat.. but it's a HELL of a road-tripmobile. You can't have everything in a car. Besides I woudn't wanna weeve in a car this long even if it was glued to the ground.

I had a ford probe fully bolted with k sport suspension and i could YANK the wheel at 100mph weeve 3 lanes with one hand and not even think twice about it.. THAT thing was a handling monster.. I've driven 02 M3 and 06 porsche carrera S and i swear to god that probe would dumby both of them.

Porsches are shyt handling for the record... M3 was SOOO much better, it was right with my probe in the slaloms stock vs the probe with EVERYTHING.

Rsx is so common and everyone knows about them. CL is a bit more rare and you can surprise people with it. CL is faster but weighs more... It looks more mature and luxurious than a rsx. RSX will outhandle it stock for stock. You will feel the weight of the CL when taking a sharp turn. the body roll is terrible. you can't take an s2000. I have I/H/P on an auto CLS and I can put a good length on one from a dig but in the long run the s2000 catches up and passes. stupid s2000 with its 9000 rpm redline!

Yeah I know what you mean last Year I sold my 318ti with the M package. It is a slow car- Around the EP3 Si range- But Once you were going I could floor it on the highway going over 100mph and it felt like I was going 45, I Tried that with the CL when I first got it and was liek woah! lol

But on that note where can I find any products for the CL I want an exhaust and suspension stuff. Sway bars, strut bars, etc. Dont really want to drop it though.

Oh and I think a more fair comparison is the new 6spd accord vs. the CL. How do they match up? Or the v6 altima coupe, really unfair to compare any cars wit different number of cyl.

I hate to say it,but the rsx has far more parts and its lighter so it would be the champ in almost all senerios.except stockers running, there type s might even chew our stock car up including our type s.really depends on driver I seen people getting taking by people with less of a car plenty our times.Just cause you have a fast car ,that dont make you fast.I was at the track and caught this rsx and it can run 12.1 all day.He can probally put this in the 11's.No cl has even hit 12.1 I know about."have they"? If this is your rsx excuss me for posting a video of your ride, but your turbo sounds so sweet.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fB6FC7NOQGI

Stock for stock the CL-S6 will lose to the 08 Accord 6MT. Ive raced my brothers. I installed headers, intake, tb spacer and a pulley and I ran right next to him. Ive yet to run him with the new intake manifold, and Im going to do some exhaust work in the coming weeks, so we'll see how he stacks up then.

The V6 fAultima (as I like to call it) is slow. My brother raced one. They shouldnt have even tried.

x2. I remember taking my friend for a ride in my Civic back in NY. I went on a very curvy road through a park near my house. The speed limit is 30. I went through it doing 70+ and he couldnt believe it. He came from a 1970 Mustang, so it was a bit of a culture shock. I wouldve gone faster through it, but that damn 1.5 non-vtec coupled to the 5spd DX tranny was straining to gain speed.

thats my friend's G35 and i ask RSX's guy he told me "My car is Not stripped its a full interior RSX Type-S weighing 2800lbs w/ me in it. As far as mods go its just an Honda Accord Engine(K24a4) swap w/ bolt ons and tuning. Made 201whp on the dyno. Nothing crazy. Just a really good driver and a great reaction time. Thats it." - thats what he said

There is a lot of very good feedback here above ^^^

What I can tell you is that I own a CLS6MT. I bought it new in 2003. The dealer I bought it from would only offer RSX's as loaner cars whenever any car was in for service. They did not even start to offer the TSX as a loaner until well after it came out as the first gen. Even today they only offer TSX's as loaners. Cheap bastards!

My point is that I have driven the piss out of the RSX's they used to loan me and I have driven the piss out of my car. I always missed my CLS6 when I had that piece of crap RSX. It was a fun car to fling around but stock for stock (yes, my car used to be stock) the CLS ran circles around the RSX I was loaned. Granted, it was not an RSX-s and it was an AUTO but I also have had a few opportunities to drive the RSX-S and I was very let down by how much you had to wind out the motor to do anything and there was never the thrown in the seat feeling that (even if not dramatic) the torque of the CLS6MT offers that No RSX ever produced or ever offered, stock...Throw in the luxo difference of the CLS and it is an open and shut case win for the CLS6MT. On the HWY the CLS will leave any RSX in the dust(stock for stock). I am 6' + and 215lb.

I think the bottom line here, what is you mod budget and what do you intend to do with the car? If your foreseeable mod budget limits you to less than $1500 in mods over the next 4 years and you want a luxo cruiser then the CLS is probably the car for you. The RSX is light rough and jumpy over uneven surfaces. If you don’t care which car you end up in but love torque over waiting all day for the stock RSX to get to 8KRPM on the interstate and still like the luxo ride then the CLS is the car for you. If you have only $4000 to mod with over the next 4years and you don’t really care which car then it is pretty much a tossup because you could easily Turbo the RSX for $4K and make it leave the CLS in the dust and out handle the crap out of it but for 4K you may be able to make the CLS (almost) keep up at the cost of most but not all of the luxo cruiser effect. If you want to really haul ass and mod the piss out of the car and can spend more than 4K on mods over whatever time span you own your next ride then I would go with something other than the CLS unless you are in love with the car. For $8K you could easily make a 600+WHP RSX that would scare the crap out of any passenger(including yourself). It all boils down to what you want and why. I still have my CLS and could get into any very nice sports car if I wanted but with the economy the way it is and the fact that I have the title to the car in MY safe...well I will stick with it and keep throwing too much money at it. When I think I can throw no more for reasonable gains I will quit, sell, and upgrade. I have thrown about $8K at mine and could have made a lot more power with a car that already had support from the aftermarket but I am enjoying the car and what I am learning from doing what i am doing to it. Sorry for the rant, hope that helps you decide.

I dont understand why people buy the CL-s and try turning it into a race car.
I told many people that are stripping down there CL-S ..WHY?
If you wanna build up a car to run 12-13s all day at the track then this is NOT the car for that, If you wanna drive 200miles 85mph a day and not have a bach ache or be sore afterwords then this is the car for you.
This car is so comfortable on long trips and when doing 85 at 2500 RPM that is nice.. Pulling up to every ricer and try racing them on the HWY gets old quick and it gets expensive after a few tickets and insurance goes up.

So it matters what u want your car to do whether which car u wand CL or RSX?

They are 2 different animals!

Nice example. At first I was going to say the s2k was'nt even trying, but with the second video you can tell the tlp embarrased the s2k.Do you know how much spray he's running?I need to get some of that shit.Whats a average price for a decent kit,400-500?

You know that tlp has a turbo? Is he's spraying also? Either way his ride is fast.Watched one of his tube videos and he takes a wrx out of the hole.He has to be getting some kind traction to do that.
