Just because they can't be chrome plated doesn't mean they suck

Do explain though. I was under the impression they were decent rotors.

I've had zero problems and I can't tell you how many times I've stopped from 110+ MPH very quickly down to around 20 MPH at the track. Oh well... IMO and i'm sure the majority of the forum would say the same... Rotora rotors do NOT suck.

i think you are supposed to use brand new ceramic pads when you replace your rotors.

I am assuming that you put NEW Rotora OEM sized rotors on and installed USED brake pads.... ..correct?

OEM pads are for grandma's... they outgas and create more heat than an aftermarket pad...

#1. never install USED pads on new rotors....
#2. You used OEM pads and EXPECTED better braking.

Look at it this way..
The pad is the MEAT... the rotor is just the potatoes...

Bad MEAT.. =

I have Axxis Metal Masters on the rear... They dust alittle too much for my liking... I have not researched new pads. You might want to look around and see what everyone else recommends...

The brakes are great, just too much dust for me...

Hawk HPS Street

No noise, no dust. However the Ultimates may have stopped a little better or it could have been the SS lines I previously had installed.

I have used the Satisfied Pro Ceramics and Hawk HPS on Brembo OEM rotors.

Satisfied Pro's had good modulation, low dusting and noise but still warped a Brembo OEM.
Hawks are tricky to modulate smoothy and can be grabby after the initial bite. Groan a little when cold, low dust and still warped the Brembo OEM's.

Rotora's with Axxis Ultimates are a good combo unless you hate dust.

I have the BBK and Rotora slotted/axxis in the rear and the stopping power is 1000% better over stock.

Using that setup right now for just the front. It's feel a bit better than stock. No noise or vibration. Dust is minimal.

Can those Rotora rotors be shaved? Or they just one time use rotors.

I have Rotora slotted and Axxis Ultimates all around, no problems so far except for the dusting in the front. Love the setup.

I recently installed slotted Rotora's and Axxis Ultimate pads. They started squeaking at about 50 miles in. I thought that it would go away after they had set in, but it just got worse. I now have over 1,000 miles on them and they still squeak under light braking. Not to mention the brake dust is about 10 times worse then my stock set up. Highly visible dust just after 20-30 miles of light driving. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Maybe I got a bad set of pads??

No, Axxis Ultimate pads create A LOT of dust.... I have them on my car and it is normal.

Did you apply no-squeel when you installed the pads? Mine do not squeek....

I use Nissin brake pads with my Rotora rotors and they work very well. Nissin makes pads for AEM. No problems yet and they brake better then my old oem setup.
