Rotora rotor wear

I noticed that my Rotora rotors seem to have more contact on the first inch or so from the center...is this normal?
The reason I think this is because the first inch or so from the center is very scratched up and not as shiny as the rest of the rotor. Could it be the pads? (Axxis ultimates)

i noticed that too, but i think it's reverse, the first inch isn't getting worn down b/c the pads on squeezing on that area, which won't make it smooth.

It can lead to vibrations later on. I will look at my rotors in the morning. Uneven wear is always not a good sign.

i think rise and i only have the slotted rotors with like axxis pads. and i'd like more clarification as well b/c i just installed these and want to make sure i installed them right. from what i can tell, the pad only squeezes the outer like 3/4 of the rotor, while the inner 1/4 is left untouched b/c no pad surface is touching it.

Yes, this is probably due to the pairing of the axxis pads and the rotora rotors.

Even under moderately hard braking, there is no vibrations currently, then again, they are kind of new (about 500miles on em)

I think mr5sparkle is correct, only the the first inch or so from the center isn't having proper contact, but I wonder if I brake harder there will be contact?

i did do the proper break in procedure (or i hope i did) by going 60-5 3 times, then 40-5 4 times, then drove on the freeway w/o braking to avoid the hot rotor from contacting the pad and possibly warping it. i also managed to produce the slightly purple/bluish haze on the rotor except for the inner 1 inch or so. with that in mind, i did brake pretty hard from those 60-5 stops so i don't know what to think anymore. i'm just knocking on wood that i don't warp my rotoras.
