also i would think any dealer for them should be able to get replacements for you, so try their website, even though it's not the best though

Is there somthing wrong with the one's you have now? Did they warp? How many miles did you get out of them?

I was thinking of getting used ones, but the rotors are warped, so i wanted to get an idea of how much they are to replace.

But now i am considering the Wilwood bbk, since the cost was about $900 new on ebay and the used Rotora calipers were about $500 + new rotors.

Are the Wilwood bbk just as good? or any preference between the two?

i say go the oem acura RL bbk route. it cost me $642 for the complete bbk. its also cheaper to replace pads and rotors.

pads, rotors, calipers, stainless steel brake lines, custom bracket grand total $642. i say this is the best economical route otherwise your just spending more for the brand name.

I'd go the P.diddy route for the money! Nice set up.

If I had to choose between Rotora and Willwood? Willwood all the way!

do the RL brakes bolt right up? if not what parts do you need? Will those fit on standard 17" CL-S Rims?

Where did you find your set of RL calipers? Also, where did you get the custom braket made?

the stock CL wheels are 16" the stock CL-S wheels are 17" so you are saying that I would have to get 3rd gen TL wheels then?

the spokes on the CL wheels dont clear the calipers. the 3g tl wheels do. the rl calipers are alot bigger than the stock cl calipers.

do u know if RJ wheels clear them and if lowering the car has any effect on the RL BBK clearance.

if u paid $75 x 2 for the calipers what did the rest of the $ go to.. just trying to get the breakdown of the cost $674. I know a good part of that will go towards the bracket.
Is there any fade in the braking or serious bias like originally complained about if u hit the brake hard.

actually the brackets arent as much as you think. but you should contact nva-av6 for his prices. i just got mine on yesterday but i dont see a problem they brake great to me. i hit them kind of hard yesterday to test and i flew forward lol. but thats the braking i want. when i hit the brakes the car STOPS. my stock brakes never felt like this.

you would have to contact RJ about his wheels. all his wheels are different. lowering your car has zero affect on bbk clearance.

not normally, but as said contact him (rondog on here) to verify

but then again, on the legend wheels (iirc) he can custom make, basically any offset/clearence you want though

If the wheels fit the TL with Brembos they will clear these brakes. The CL fitment will not.

they have a different mounting bracket/ears to even the regular brakes, but yeah the RL is different also, and those mount with custom brackets no issues, so i don't see why not (let alone you can pretty much put ANY caliper on anycar if you want to with custom brackets, it just a matter of a large enough wheel/rotor, and makeing up some brackets, then also getting a couple of hose adaptors for the lines if needed)

The TL Brembos are absolute shit. They have nothing on the RL calipers.

The TL calipers are made by Acura. Not Brembo. Brembo licenses their name out.

The RL calipers are made by ADVICS, not Acura. They are also incredibly light (7lbs).

Just a heads up: ROTORA has discontinued their 1 piece discs for most Acura models. For those of you who need replacement rotors you can upgrade their 2 piece disc but it requires new calipers. ROTORA offers the upgrade kit for about $900 plus shipping but you must send your old calipers back. Here is the info regarding this from ROTORA:

Rotora will offer an upgrade to replace the old 1- piece rotor kit for your clients as follows:

- Brand new set of Forged 4 pistons Calipers (Red or Metallic Blue) of their choice.
- Brand new set of Billet Aluminum Hats.
- Brand new set of Disc rings (Slotted or Drilled & Slotted) of their choice.

Rotora in return will need their old Calipers and 1- piece rotors ship back to us pre-paid for this exchange. Also please inform your client’s that they can still use their Brackets, Lines and Pads that came with their old Kit. If they decline, Option #2 is for them to purchase the whole new replacement 2- piece rotor brake kit system we offer for their vehicle.
