Rotor Upgrade Options

Looking for some options on rotors that I can replace the crappy Acura ones with. I've found a lot of scattered info on this. A lot of you guys have Rotora's. Those may be the ones I end up going with, but if anyone have any better ideas, please let me know.

The options are Rotora's, Brembos, Power Slot or Other. What would you guys get. I saw some of the Brembo's drilled and slotted on ebay.

I am not looking for a BBK.

BE CAREFUL.... Brembo DOES NOT PRODUCE a drilled AND slotted rotor. Currently Brembo only offers a OEM replacement rotors for 2nd gen CL's. Be more concerned with your pad choice than your rotors.

Too bad I ordered 4 Rotora slotted rotors from Street Beat Customs exactly a month ago and they've yet to ship mine out. It's on constant backorder... everytime I call I get the same story ("They should be here any day now") ever since 3 weeks ago...

i would go with irotors rotor. i've had this on my car since 52,000 miles. 3 years later, and at 115,000 they are still going strong. no warping, just lots of brake dust from the axis ultimate. for $400 it's a great deal.

I always thought that the iRotor rotors were Brembo blanks that they cross drilled and slotted. I like ur slotted ones though.

You guys should check out the rotors at http://www.raceshopper.com/ i hear they are really good quality, thats where i plan on getting mine. They have a wealth of info on their site too. You have to email them to get prices but to avoid all that, here are the prices i recieved for cross drilled only, and cross drilled and slotted:

01-03 ACURA CL COUPE 3.2 Type S
(front) Cross Drilled $186.09/pair
(rear) Cross Drilled $140.87/pair

01-03 ACURA CL COUPE 3.2 Type S
(front) Cross Drilled & Slotted $197.94/pair
(rear) Cross Drilled & Slotted $148.15/pair

Heres a thread on the Irotors, the guy that has them said that they infact are brembo blanks that were slotted and drilled.

I seriously remember when I was looking at the iRotor rotors on one of their auctions they all said these are Brembo cross drilled and slotted rotors and people here told me that they drilled the Brembo blanks...

I just got back after driving for 1600 miles this weekend. i must say that I'm really happy with powerslot. The stopping power has increased drastically with Hawk-HPS pads (over stock rotors with same pad). The front rotors cost me 240 CDN taxes in.
