roadlamp/foglamp bulb size question

roadlamp/foglamp bulb size question
I've searched on here and can't find any info. I've heard of 2nd gen TL owners putting 9005 or 9006 bulbs in their foglights. Is this an option for us? Just wondering since the 18w W2's that we have aren't cool at all.
