I just drove my 01 cl-s from detroit down to Sandusky Ohio(Cedar Point).My car has had it's fair share of minor problems, rattling moonroff (repaired 6 times) braking vibrations & brake noise (repaired 5 times) replaced regulator on dirver side window three times, but luckily nothing major so far and i'm at 30 thousand miles. I've had so many minor problems that Acura has made me an offer to compensate me to stay in my vechile( extrended warranty) or get me into a new one (some sort of rebate). I was pretty fed up with my car, but this road trip brought back the love. It was a 290 mile round trip. This was the first long trip i took the car on. i still have my first car a 95 accord Ex-L (bought new) which i drive on long trips. I have to say that our cars really handle great. They are very responsive as well as powerfull even at high speeds. The seets were very comfortable for a 2 hour (each way) drive. THe HID lights not only look great on the dark Ohio turnpike but they as well as the car still turn heads. I thought i would share my reborn love for this car with you guys, since there has been a cosiderable amount of cl bashing stroies lately.
