Road lamp Q

Starting to get tired of those yellow road lamps, and looking for a replacement.

I came across these 9-LED 168/194 Wedge bulb (Xenon White)

They where talked about in a Lexus fourm and got some good reviews. Just wondering would they be a good match and fit on a 2001 CL/s

You can see more pictures in his other listings

Thanks........

I am not sure how a 9 bulb would look.

I had a set of the PIAA 2 bulb LED bulbs, so I tried them in the road lamps. They were no brighter on the ground, but when looking at the front of the car, the housing was not lit up. All you saw was a little dot of light. And it had a blue-ish tint to it also.

Let us know if you try the 9 bulb set-up.

Well,

I looked at it on ebay, I figure you might have some problems fitting it into the fog lamp housing. I think if you can get the bulb in the housing it might work decently, but you'll haveto get it into the housing first

L.E.D. lights are directional. They will only shine in the diection they are being pointed.

I found the same type of bulbs in an auto part store, except these were amber colored. He's right....they actually were not as bright as the standard bulbs. However, looking head on you saw the bright dots, the bulbs. But I guess the LED does not disperse the light enough throughout the housing.
