REV LIMITERS,WHERE DO THEY CUT IN +WHEN?
CAN ANYONE GIVE ME THE LOWDOWN ON HOW IT WORKS AND WHEN YOU MANUALLY SHIFT, WILL THE LIMITER SHIFT FOR YOU. I KNOW ABOUT THE 1-2 SHIFT BUT WHAT ABOUT AFTER THAT

It will let you bounce off the rev-limiter all day after the 1-2, 2-1 shift. I want to race you on Saturday!!!!

I believe they cut in around 7300 to prevent engine damage. I had this happen couple times when I shifted to late or forgot to shift. not a good feeling.

I know what you mean about forgetting to shift. That engine just keeps pulling and pulling in 2nd gear. Without the rev limiter, I'm sure many people would kill their engines by accident.
