Repairing Paintjob!

For a black paint job, my car is relatively good. There are some minor swirls, scratches, and 1 or 2 deeper than minor scratches.

My color is nighthawk pearl, fyi.

I went to my local Kragens and autoshops and picked up different matching paint touch-up pens, as well as turtlewax scratch remover and all that crap. Suffice it to say none of them work.

Besides factory touch up paint which I haven't even inquired about, is there any products that you guys have used that works in actually making your paint job look closer to factory finish?

1 free cookie for everyone who replies with a good advice!

you need to hang out and read some here
https://acurazine.com/forums/wash-wax-23/

and here
http://autopia.org/forum/

there are lots of 3 step polishes that will help out your paint. i can already tell you the best way to go is going to be the porter cable orbital and the polishes. good luck! also post over in that forum and you'll find more help and suggestions.
