I just finished a custom exhaust and im running a resonator for my cat...like a test pipe...so i just unplugged the sensor, this shouldnt effect anything really huh? I know problems occur when the primary 02 is out but secondary is just mainly for emissions right? Ive heard people say gas milage goes down but why? would the car be running rich?...( i miss my old GSRs OBDI ECU) ha

i know the secondary O2 basically reads how well the cat is functioning. People with test pipes can weld an O2 bung on and use a defouler to get the sensor out of the exhaust flow which should stop the engine light from coming on. Not sure what would happen if you completely unplug it.
PS, what's your exhaust setup?

xs headers w/ 2.5" collector< 3" inlet/outlet vibrant resonator < Single 3" exhaust <another 3" vibrant inlet/outlet resonator (where mid muffler was, just to quiet the exhaust rattle) to a Magnaflow muffler.... If your wondering I welded the other muffler on too just so it dosent look weird with just one on the bumper w dual cut outs. The 3" piping only has two slight bends in it...its a little loud at WOT but i can handle it.
