Recommended Service Schedule
Do you guys follow the recommended service schedule for your CL? I got a 30K mile service coming up and I am not too sure its necessary. They do a whole lot of inspection/adjusting. I already did the oil change and tire rotation, but since I have the extended warranty I'm wondering if its necessary to perform the actual 30K maintenance.

I Do.
The 30k is more then just an oil change and a tire rotation. Air Filter and Pollen Filter should also be changed... Along with the checks they do, I usually have my dealer take care of the list of things that need to be addressed since last service (this time - parking brake adj. and wiper arm adj.).
I've got 31K miles on my CLS, so I'm overdue for my 30K... I have to call a newly opened Acura dealer for a price check and to see what kind of loaners they provide.

fyi - my dealer charges $289 for the entire 30k service, with loaner.

i have seen on the maint sched that plugs do not need to be changed at 30K. miami acura gave me a pamphlet with the 30K service that included plugs. anyone know when plugs should be changed?
i too am at 31K (overdue) and not sure if i need the extra bs service.

Many dealers will want to do alot of stuff that's not recommended in the owners manual or ownerslink website as far as service goes.
I got quoted $500 for the 30K from Inskip Acura, and they wanted to do a bunch of stuff that's not listed in the official acura maintence schedule. You have to watch out for that.
