Recommend an Excellent Aluminum Wheel Cleaner

Yesterday I was painting my brake calipers red using http://www.legendfive.com/. They came out better than I was expecting. Did four coats on each one.

While I had the wheels off I decided to clean up the inside using my Eagle One Aluminum cleaner. I gave each wheel five treatments and they still had these pitting dirt spots that remained.

Does anyone have a wheel cleaner for stock rims that works?

Thanks.

I use Castrol all wheel cleaner and have good results. However, you can't let the solution sit on the wheel. You have to keep it moving. My brother also found out that if you let the sun dry it while it sits it becomes etched into the wheel. As with all wheel cleaning products read the directions!

Hey DeLucCL-S:

Looks like I purchased the wrong cleaner.
I got Eagle One Aluminum Wash and Cleaner.
I was just out on http://www.eagleone.com
and saw the A2Z. Thanks for the tip!

How easy was this to do? Did you have to remove the calipers? Did one $29 application do four coats on each caliper?

I just wash it off the old skool way. get a bucket of water, pour some car wash soap, then w/ a terry towel, wash away.

THAT'S UNTIL I KNEW ABOUT WAXXING YO RIMS!!

Couple weeks back AgeanTypeS told me about waxxing my rims. So I had some cheap NU car wax sitting in my room so after cleaning all my rims I waxed them an vualla about 70% of the brake dust Sticks to the rims. and best of all to clean then just get a paper towel and wipe it off. Because of the wax the brake dust comes right off like its nothing. Soo much easier this way to keep your rims looking sparkly clean all the time. And waxing your rims only takes about 1 min for each rim but goes a very long time.
