reason why car was riding wierd
Since i am at school now i have little time to mess around with my car anymore. when i went home this weekend i wanted to open up the hood and see what was going on.
lately i noticed that my car was idling a little higher but since it has been colder i knew that was normal. what was not normal was this wierd noise that i got when in the lower rpms. so when i was at home i opened up the comptech intake to see if they had something blocking a large part of the filter. still being a little curious i turned the filter up and looked down the hole and saw nothing. when installing my intake 7+ months ago, sometime in the past month the 90 degree plastic pipe fell off. lucky it was caught by the undercarrige thingie and i put it back on with out a problem.
with the intake hooked by up my car felt totally different, a good bit of power at the lower rpm's and some as it went up.
moral of the story, make sure you tighen the clamp nice and good on the intake
