Rear tie bar

I never seen one for our cars and I was looking at some stuff and seen this picture that shows a rear tie bar on a acura integra.
What would stop us from using a bar like this and using longer bolts to make it work ?
Even low I dont think this bar would be a problem in the back.

It definitly would add some strenth to those flimsy body tabs that the lower arms bolt to.
Do you think the tie bar for the integra would open enough to make the width for our car ?

anyways look at 98-02 Accord lower rear tie bars, they should work, but yeah the exhaust will be the main obstacle as to be easily doable or not
