Rear Bumper Opinions/Suggestions
As of Friday, 3/27/09, I need a new rear bumper. I plan on eventually getting a full body kit, but I have other modifications I am going to do first; thus, I am only going to get a rear bumper for now. The rear bumper I am leaning towards getting is: http://www.andysautosport.com/acura/...i00127064.html.
Question time
1) What do you guys think of this bumper?
2) Should I get a new factory bumper and not aftermarket?
3) Has anyone installed an aftermarket rear bumper on their CL? If so, which one and from where did you buy it?
4) Would you recommend any other rear bumper?
Thanks in advance!

1) Not a fan.
2) Yes.
3) Know no one.
4) No, stock and perhaps a RonJon kit added to it.

How did Yumchah find his way in here? I thought he wasn't allowed out of the "off topic" section. I mean, there's no robots or Aston Martins here.

I looked for kits for the CL and fund a couple but I was talking to some people that siad they ordered them and they Didnt fit
Me personaly I like that kit , but I like stock more and I feel that if you do get a rear bumper you got to get the whole kit and it has to match so what does the front look like and the sides.
also it would be nice to get a rear bumper that looked stock but went lower to go around the exhaust (holes in the bumper but stock looking)

dont get the bumper... made of fiberglass. and wont be a direct fit. gotta mod it. also stay stock and get a lip. my mistake on that . trust me. you either gotta do alot of work on the bumper or dont bother trying. just get a oem bumper with the ronjon and mold it if u want a cleaner look.. thats my next route soon.

OOOOOOOOHHHHHH NOOOOOO! Dont get the EVO kit, or any fiberglass kit! When I first had my CL, I went with that bumber, C2 sides and an EVO III front. Total fiberglass....after myself and my bodyshop friend spent 3 days on test fitments, and finally made it fit perfect. I left the shop, hit a dip in the road going 45 MPH and shattered the entire bottom half of my front bumper! DONT DO IT PLEASE!

Some of you might be wondering.....
What exactly is a body kit? Why buy a body kit?
A body kit is essentially a collection of parts that, when installed on your car, modify its appearance. Most body kits modify the look of the front and rear bumpers and of the rocker panels on a car. Many body kits consist of custom bumpers that replace your factory bumpers, while others include lips or fascias that you add to your factory bumpers. Almost all body kits come with sideskirts that are installed on top of your factory rocker panels. Body kits often create the look of a lowered vehicle and can give your car an aggressive look, a super-clean flowing look, or a race car look, to name a few types of styles. Out of all available modifications, body kits probably make the biggest impact on the appearance of a car. Installing a body kit on your car will completely change your car's look, and will certainly turn peoples' heads as you drive down the street!
