So I have a sticker on my back winsheild thats been there for a few years and is faded to hell. Ive tried removing it with goo gone but it does nothing. The sticker is totaly melted on. Any other suggestions? Heat gun? other products?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, my work filter blocks me from the wash and wax forum for some reason...

lighter fluid also removes things like that but i would check and make sure it's safe for the finish first

^ With it being on his rear window....shouldn't be a problem. The reason I stated WD-40, is it wont dissipate as fast as lighter fluid will, thus making the job easier.

3M makes a great adhesive remover. Its in a tall black aerosol can. Not sure but I think I got it at Autozone. Just search around your area. It is a common product used to remove state inspection stickers from windows etc.. We have them here in Louisiana on the lower left side of the windshield.
