Ran a new RL on the highway for a bit

Driving on the Dulles Toll Road east towards 495, I just rolled through the 50 cent main toll plaza. I was rolling through the toll around 50mph (the "fast" smart tag toll) and noticed a set of HIDs behind me riding my ass.

I started speeding up and downshifted (SportShift) into 3rd, and gunned it ... The RL kept up with me for a little bit, but I started pulling further and further away in 3rd. I shut it down at around 85mph or so because my 2 friends were both following me and they didn't have SmartTag (ie. had to stop for the toll).

When the RL passed me, I noticed he still has his temp tags on! Fresh off the lot.

Was fun though, that car is still way nicer than the TL-S too and SH-AWD probably would have owned me on the twisties.

But 3.5L 300hp AWD + nearly 4000lbs couldn't keep up with my modded TL-S

Just looked up the magazine numbers, with an average low 15 second 1/4 mile and a mid to high 6 second 0-60 time I guess its not that surprising that I walked away from the RL so easily hahaha.

dude, be really careful on sunset with our cars. some of those turns change angles ever so slightly and can create an understeer/oversteer situation! trust me, ive experienced both under and oversteer on a few of those turns!

RLs are HOT but slow as shit. Test drove one and liked everything about it but the power...it did not feel like 300HP to me...actually felt more like 220HP...kinda reminded me of my old TL but with more refined feel.

Be careful on the Toll Road, I got popped twice and I won't speed there anymore...I"m chicken shit on the Toll Road, even when an IS300 fucks with me in CL55.
