Nice! Good to hear that's over.

If my memory serves me well...I thought that if you ran a turbo setup 2.25" was better for the back pressure than 2.5"

Can't remember though...

I suggest SSRs. They are expensive though.

15.5 lbs:

not about to spend $400+ on a rim. and if i can ill buy some used ones since it will be cheaper. not worried about if they have a few scratches and what not. just so their around 15lbs and 17's.

anyway, took the cl on the highway today and it feels strong in all gear. has lots of power.

but the things that annoy me are:
when the windows are open its extremely loud inside the car above 50
and when cruising at 60mph the rpms are at 2100. fuel economy must not be too good at that rpm bc in my tl-p my rpms are at 1800 at 60mph. and i get 29+mpg. is that how it is in the other cl-s6's?

other than that, im gonna go and hook up my nitrous to it now

I recently went on a trip through the mountains and was cruising at 75 when I was on the interstate and accelerating/decelerating in the 45-60 range in the mountains and I got 31 mpg

Want to maximize mpg's.

Drive 55 mph on the freeway.

You can find more info. here...

http://drive55.org/

Some friends of mine up in Sacramento have been experimenting with this and they are getting ridiculous mpg in the CL, TL, and TSX.

I think it was 41 mpg in the CL.

I've gotten 37mpg with an average speed of 74mph on a road trip last summer.

When gas was $4/gal last summer I started driving 50 mph just to see what kind of impact it was going to have on my mpg. I was driving a '06 Mazda 3, 5 speed at the time. 2 tankfuls, I was averaging close to 50 mpg.

I kept getting pulled over by NJ State Troopers(no tickets) and harassed by semi truck drivers even though I was always driving on the slow lane.

Nice.

I wish I could run through the gears on a CLS 6MT with a short shifter just to see how responsive it is.

Still haven't even been in a CL with the 6 speed.

Damn...

Nice progress.

How much was the bumper spray?

I am about to buy a front bumper, my car came from a front plate state but AZ. does not have them so I have two ugly holes in it.

Dude just get some round tipped screws, screw em in, and buy a little thing of oem touch up paint for 7 bucks and paint em. Look here where I did it to fill my holes - http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...perplugged.jpg

and here's a thread about it -https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=716063

That is an interesting solution, there is some damage on the bumper so I think I'll replace it anyway. I emailed bumperplugs.com and asked if they have SSM.

Thanks

Mine has the holes and a gouge in the center top from when I did not pull far enough into my garage and the door hit it.

It also has 170k of freeway micro chips that don't show up in pictures but drive me crazy when I get within ten feet of the car.

150 to paint the new one is about I expected.

Thanks

since i added the short shifter kit. and it feels amazing going through the gear. i also cut about 3/4" of the threaded shifter pipe (pic below). and then drilled out the stock shifter so it sits lower when i screw it in. i love even more now.
