This morning on the way to work I raced a Porsche. I smoked it by two car lengths. I am not sure what kind it was. It was an older model though. It was a small two seater with a removable top. It was orange. I think the back of it said "914." Are these supposed to be fast. It kinda looked fast, but definitely not furious. Anyway, I am going to be the first to congrat myself on this awesome kill.

Yep, the 924s were slow too, as were the non-turboed 944s. These low-end Porshes were more about status, style, and handling than anything else.

Phin i'll give ya some props, it must've been a pretty heavily modified 914 in order for you to only beat it by 2 car lengths

 

I used to have a 924 TURBO - it was pretty FAST, and it handled like a go-cart! ...super low center-of-gravity. And man, when that turbo spooled up, it hauled ASS!!!

 

We all need a Phin around don't we! Otherwise someone else would be.

Phin, Your vanquished 914 has the same block & jugs as my '77 bus. You may have waxed the 914, but my bus w/ it's 70 some odd horses and EXTREME aerodynamic body will severely humble your VTEC powered program.
