Raced a 2000 prelude last night!

My boy and I were coming back from a superbowl party last night. I was following him in my cl. He has a 2000 prelude w/ greddy exhaust, hi-flow cat, dc sports header, cam gears, pulleys, and a apexi v-afc. I always thought this car was faster than mine, until now. As we were approaching a stop sign on a back road (where noone was out), I blinked my highbeams a few times and pulled up beside him. We put down our windows and I told him lets go on 3. So I counted to 3 and we both went. Right away we both just start smoking em' off because we hit a bunch of cinders off the liine and then our v-tecs kicked in on the pavement and there was smoke pouring everywhere. Then I started pulling away a little bit going up the road. I had him by about a car length when I had to get over in front of him a let off. There was a corner coming up so we didnt ger much over 100mph. My boy knows how to drive, so it had to be my car was faster and that suprises the hell out of me. Overall a good race.

Hehe, sounds like both of you need driving lessons.

Nice kill though.

Man thats neat...by the way...my friend has a 2000 prelude too but he bought it used with a greddy muffler. Man but that thing is so fast ( he got an intake like a month ago) he has raced other preludes, even the SH with the same mods and he killed them, 3.0's too...We don't know whats on that engine?

I dont think I need driving lessons, it was dark out and I couldnt see that there were cinders on the road. Once I was spinning I didnt want to let off or I would have lost my momemtum. Ridinlow-Maybe you can teach me how to drive an automatic, it gets kind of hard sometimes.
