2 races . First one wasnt sure if he was racing. Light turns green he casually launched and mashes it with tires chirping and everything i was like shit i didnt knew or else i wouldve turned A/C off and VSA. I caught and passed him by mid third although i was in the inner lane. So we caught a next light and this time it was officially on. Light turns green and i mashed it and all i could feel was wheelspin..i was like fukkk.. neways i managed to catch him he was peeling 2nd and third i thikn .. i was like damn the maxes were pretty quick. We stayed about even the whole way after 3rd gear. Then we shut it down. Honked at him and gave each other thumbs up.. =)

I need a 6SPD dammit.!! Without headers i dont think i wouldve dkept up with em.

Nice race! I've never raced a 6sp Maxima but have beaten a auto 2k2 pretty easily.

Funny cause people at Max org say the same thing, that they beat you guys with stock 02/03 autos both cars stock. These cars run so similiar times its a drivers race with the autos that is and manual to manual should be the same. From the stats I've seen here and over their they are just to similiarly matched to call a victor with comparable tranny's and stock for stock.

Yeah i do agree its a drivers race..

I beat another 2k2 max 6spd at the track with my auto (intake only) at the time.. because he messed up his launch.

I am a maxima owner and .org member, and yeah the 2 cars are close.

I own a 97 BTW.... but the cl-s is a good match .. I just wish our interior was as nice as the acura's

bags, are you one of the quick turbo maxes? i read over at the org. that some of the cars w/ a particular turbo kit aren't even running sub 14's.

haha.. I am one of them, but things are not always what they seem. Although I have never been to the 1/4 just the 1/8 and 9.9 was my best time.


If you do not get all the facts you'll never know the truth..

I dyno'd the day prior and I was 225 WHP 230 WTQ with a non-functioning variable intake manifold. That working I should have been in the 245-255 WHP area. I was also at 10.5:1 A/F, which is VERY ruch.

So, I went to the track just to see what I would do. I was @ 6 PSI.

I am still fixing some problems , then comes the SAFC, whcih I am guesing should put me in the 265 WHP 250 WTQ area @ 6 PSI.

I'll be @ 8 PSI when I get the SAFC
