R.I.P. Acura CL Maryland

Whats up peeps!!! Im cool. For those that dont know, I was an a major accident on Norbeck rd at 5am headed to work! I Hit somebody that ran a red light. Both of my airbags Deployed. I was taken to the Emergency Room and Later that day released with a headache from my head hittin the airbag and a few bruises. The other guy had to be taken to the Trama Unit. He was driving a 89' Toyota Celica. People still cant believe I walked away from that crash. Im okay and in good health! My Acura Cl is completey totaled. Now the Car hunt begins!!!

My choices are: Another Acura CL-S six speed, G35 six speed, 2008 TL-S six speed, Lexus IS 350, or Cadilac CTS-V six speed.

Whats up man. Wow I live 15 min away from Norbeck Rd, thats crazy. It's good your doing well. My vote would be to keep in the Acura family and go with the TL-S 6 Speed. You will have more room and more power and plus its a beautiful car. Acura FTW.

No bullshit...im not gonna lie...i was riding as a passenger in a 1st gen cl when our car got tboned...came out of there with a gash on my head...no broken bones or anything...the worst part is that all windows were shattered and i ended up sitting on the center console...door was bent in...But it did save my ass...they guy hit us at least around 65 mph +....and now i have a 2nd gen cl...havent had a big crash like that...but knowing my car it will save me...Plus how could you ever not want another one...specially if 6speeds are around???

If not big on being with ac...then i say G35/37 or CTS-V

Thanks for all the love folks!!! Im really thinking about keeping it in the fam! So after listening to yall I limited my search down now to the: Acura CL-S Six Speed, 2008 TL-S Six Speed, or G35! I really miss my Coupe and my Six Speed!

If you trully loved your CL-S auto...you will do backflips for the 6spd....i was lucky enough to get my hands on one...and i couldnt even test drive it (didnt know how to drive stick)...but now...i wouldnt trade it for anything other than a bmw or mercedes...or any other car in the next class...

Ha, you make it hard for people to make decisions cause your price range for cars goes from $13,000- $40,000.

Much as I like the Acura 6 speed, its low on the list compared to the TL-S, G37, or CTS-V.

Narrow your price range and people can help a lil more.

Glad to hear you are alright though.

Glad to hear you're okay, let me know when I can pick up the 6-speed.

It sounds like some serious test driving is in order.

Thanks for everything fellas! Ive been test driving cars all this week! As far as the CTS-V goes, I already have a police cruiser, a V8 Dodge Charger, Im not a cop but I work for the US Marshals office! Im a field agent and I have fun with that alot! Dont get me wrong, after test drive the CTS-V, I loved it, but I already got an american car and I just found out I can switch it out for a CTS-V so that might be my next Police cruiser, dont worry, I don't do traffic stops, I run up in peoples house, I leave the traffic stops to local law!

I narrowed my cars down too: TL-S 6spd, CL-S 6spd, or G35 6spd! I love all of them, but gotta pick one! I got till the end of this week to decide! I will collect 20,000dollars from his insurance this week! That will cover my Medical bill, half of what I owed on the car, and the gap insurance will take up the rest, and the rest of my money will go to a down payment on the new car!

haha. the reason is 'cause it looks ugly and plain. maybe a nice spoiler and rear lip would make it fantastico.
