my doors dont lock after 20 seconds. they lock after I start driving, but if I just park the car and dont lock it, it stays unlocked permanently.
and I think the GPS thing would only work with onstar, which I thought was only available on the 03 w/ navi.

as far as the doors locking or not, this is what im talkin about...say u go to the store, u get out, shut the door, and lock it, right??? when u come back to the car, u unlock the door...if u don't open the door within like 30 seconds, the door will relock
and what do u mean the doors lock after u start driving???

If you drive, shut off the engine, open door, get out of car, and close door without locking, the door won't lock by itself.
But after locking the door, if you come back to your car later and unlock it with the key fob but don't open anything, it will relock on it's own.
Yes, if you lock yourself out, you can call TLC and using Onstar, they can unlock your door....but I believe that's only if you have the Onstar service. If you don't subscribe to it, you're still out of luck...but TLC should be able to help send someone to unlock (which I wouldn't want since they could break something).
Oh yeah, I if you want the doors to lock when you start driving, you need to install a new system. My GSR had a Clifford alarm and I could program it to have that feature (auto lock when driving).
