I am better off getting an spoiler painted and installed at acura for $580cad or just get it at spoiler depot, ccc net creations, etc....? Also would i need anything else if i get the spoiler like a stronger trunk release? or something like that?? also is getting an spoiler from spoiler depot and stuff a good idea? for instance like would it cause leaks or anything like that???

I got mine from spoilerdepot, last year for like $220 shipped, painted. The only problem is that now my trunk does not pop open because it is toooo heavy. The Factory spoiler comes with some kind of additional bar to make it still pop up.

ill sell you a spoiler depot spoiler cheap if you want one, i never installed it, what color is your car?

I have the factory spoiler and the trunk never popped up open on its own. Just an inch or two. There should be a hydraulic arm to hold that thing up.
