Question: Koni Yellow owners!

I was wondering for those who have Koni Yellows, know aprox. how much of a drop each setting on the rings would lower the car. I am aware that the springs also comes into play but I just wanted an ballpark. I have the version of koni's that only has 2 settings a higher and a lower setting.

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I have H&R OE Sports and the fronts are way too high compared to the back. I also posted here because I thought more CL owners have these shocks.

on my CL-S only the highest groove on the shock could be used...otherwise the tops would stick into the hood...

You know, I never even thought of that being a possibility. Since the springs are so compressed, can't I just tighten the nut to the same spot as they are now so the tops will be at the same height(provided it meets the torque setting)?

I'm beginning to dislike these OE Sport springs, but I do not want to go though the 4-5 hour install again

I have koni yellows, with the eibach pro-kit. If you put the pro-kit on the stock struts, the back end is actually lower than the front. I've seen it (patsmere's car) with my own eyes. Now here is my car, with koni yellow's and eibach pro-kit, with the koni's set on the upper perch (both front and back).

Guys thanks for your replies. I gave H&R a call and asked why the back of my car was so much lower than the fronts. They asked if I cut the bumpstops, I said yes. When I first insalled the springs I cut one section off. I guess it was a mistake on my part. What I am wondering is how does this throw it off that much? Well she basically wouldn't help me any more after I told her that She wanted me to install the bumpstops in an uncut form and then see what happens.

TypeR - I remember you had the same problem as I. Did you cut your bumpstops?

thanks everyone.

BTWL 2 replies from the CL board in minutes and not one in the TL board

fbazakos: Thanks for the pictures. I guess the top perch should be the right settings for our cars. So whats wrong with my setup? Could it really be the cut bumpstops?
