Question: CT Titanium Series S.T.B. (strutbar)
I just had the CT Titanium Series S.T.B. (strutbar) installed a little more that a week ago. I noticed a slight improvement in steering precision. However, there is one side affect I didn't expect. Has anyone noticed after installing the strutbar that it acts like a noise transmitter from the engine to firewall where you can hear the power steering pump whine through the firewall much more than before?
I brought the car in today and had the dealership replace the power steering pump because it sounded like it's going out. But after the new one was installed, I can still hear the pump whining through the firewall when revving the engine. It kinda sounds like I've got a SC.

Yes, I've noticed that steering noise too. I thought my steering was screwed up somehow. Now that you mention it...oh well, what can you do? Gotta live with it...it's a trade-off between comfort and performance.

None of my hoses, etc. are ziptied. The one that is touching is about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. That rubber hose seems fairly inflexible and it doesn't seem to want to move.
