QUESTION Concerning CLEARED HEADLIGHTS

Quick question.

I want to clear my headlights... I am a newbie when it comes to this, but I realize that there are 2 bulbs on the right of the headlight: one that stays on at all times or blinks and one that is on towards the orange deflector... I want to know, which one actually blinks? the reason i'm asking is because due to the "unforgivable" laws in Canada, we are not allowed to have clear blinkers. As long as my headlights blink orange, there is no problem. What I dont want is seeing orange when not blinking.

Someone have any idea how I could arrange something so that I can have clearlights on while not blinking (WITHOUT ORANGE) but when blinking, it's orange?

The top bulb is the blinker. The bottom bulb is just a running light.

Get Chrome bulbs. They flash amber, but look chrome when not lit so they blend into the light. Thats what I'm running and its fine.

You can kind of see the chrome bulb in there. I have the clear diffusers, but also have the chrome amber bulbs behind them as well, so it looks amber at night.

Do you have a night pic of your car by any chance?

Where do I get this kind of bulb?

Amber = orange

Sorry, no night pics but I can try and take one later when I get home.

I got them from Cardomain.com The turn signal bulbs are 1157 and the running lights are 194.
The bulbs are expensive though. The 1157s are like 7 bucks a piece. The 194s are only 5 bucks for the pair though.

yeah, but when you put your lights on, automatically the running lights come on and you see the amber color... I don't want to see ANY orange unless i'm signaling a turn..

any suggestions?

You could just leave that bulb out. It serves little purpose.

here is my setup:

clear headlights with clear reflector (used to replace the amber reflector and it can be purchased at www.rics2k.com).

-beneath the clear reflector, i have no bulb.
-for the turn signal bulb above the reflector, i have a chrome/amber bulb (the bulb has a chroem coating so it looks chrome and blends in with the housing, butwhen it blinks, it blinks amber)
-the chrome bulb: i put scotch tape over one of the black nubs, so when i turn my headlights on, it does not turn on. the ONLY time the bulb will turn on, is when i activate the turn signal.

So when you put your headlights on, you don't have any running lights on the side?
