Question about the seats...

I'm looking at buying a CL-S later this year, and have some questions about the seats...

Does anyone have dogs travel inside the car? How does the leather hold up?
I plan on using a blanket when having to move my dogs (a beagle and a cocker) around, but still wonder about the seats...

Thanks

-Mike

agreed. the leather should b tuff enough to withstand your little guys, but beware of the piss. if it gets into the perforated leather, u're done. the best way to remove it would b to get something like Meguiar's Leather Care thick liquid to cover up the smell and hopefully mix together so that u can wipe it off with little damage

I brought my kittens to the vet and lucky I had them in a animal box, but point is, they got nervous and pissed in the box, had it got to the seats......um.......I'm afraid there would have been DEAD kitties ! Put some plactic under the doggie blanket, just incase they get nervous and shit all over the place. It's a risk !

That cool! I was much more worried about the claws on the leather. I'm not really worried about the piss. We make many 5 and 8 hour car trips with a couple a stops without any problems.

For some reason, Acura's have a really high level of static electricity in their interiors which makes removing dog hair a real pain. I have an MDX and a TL-S (both with the Ebony interior) and light colored lint is attracted to the interior parts like nothing I've ever seen before. If you're real anal retentive you may want to go with the Parchment interior. My dogs (a Beagle and a Jack Russell) aren't allowed in the TL-S and are only allowed in the cargo area of the MDX.
