Question about moving from 225's to 235's???

hey guys, I need some help:

As I posted previously, I had one of my tires blow on the freeway and am now picking up a set of SO-3's. I am riding on Eibach springs to I have about a 2" drop. Currently I am running tires that are 225/40-18, and there is practically no clearence between the tire and the fender.

I want to know if anybody has tried 235/40-18 tires with Eibach springs without rubbing. I would try it, but i don't wat to have to roll the fenders. If it helps to answer the question, its a 7.5" wide rim with an offset of +45.

Thanks for the help.

They will fit on the rim without a problem. You can evn probably fit a 245 on 7.5" rim. I am just worried about rubbing since I am dropped on Eibach's.

You probably don't want to go that wide (unless you just want the look). It's going to really screw up the handling. I built a 2000 Chevy Sport Truck with massive 285 60 R18's, and it looks bitchin', but it tends to wander all over the road trying to find flat pavement. And the other thing: The bigger the rubber, it's heavier, lowers the power output, and screws up the ride (since the suspension isn't tunned for the extra weight).

But, like I said.... it looks bitchin'!
