Question Question about labor cost? South Dallas TX

I have an 03 CL-S 6spd and I need to change the warp rotors out. I wanted to know if the labor quotes to change out rotors, brake pads, brake fluids and Goodridge brake lines sounds about right. I am supplying all the parts for the job.

Pep Boys $186.00
Honda Dealer $375
Local Shop $468

What is your thought about these prices? Fair or Over priced

Thanks in advance

DFV

What kind of rotors are you putting on? I would suggest Brembo rotors from O'Reilly. I'm had them on about a year and they are still great!

I will be using EBC sport rotors w/slot and dimpels and EBC green pads with Goodridge ss lines DOT 4 brake fluid Castrol or some form of Synthetic brake fluid.

What about the labor quotes? Is there any reputable brake shop/mechanic shop in the South DFW area.

Let me know Thanks

Either way any of those quotes are ridiculous! I wouldn't trust my car at Pep Boys, and i've never taken my car to a shop for basic maintenance.

You can swap the rotor and pads yourself if you have a jack, a couple stands (optional) and the right size tools. A little time and you can save yourself a butt-load of cash.

Get a buddy or you can do all that yourself with a one-man bleeder system. If you can get a friend to help you. bleeding the lines is really strait forward.
(But the stealership and local shop prices seem about right. They always rip you off)

That combo u r useing is GREAT!! EBC dimpled and slotted and greenstuff pads, had that combo on mine and LOVED it! Go with castrol GT-LMA fluid ..
Those costs are way OVERINFLATED!!
thats 1 hour work maybee 1.5 hours for a slow poke..So $100 a/hour which it is at DLR in tri-state area cost should be $150 at most..
