Question about Comptech B-Pipe:

I just picked up a Comptech 2g CL B-Pipe today from the Blackmarket section and it looks excellent

One question though. The stock weld seems to be separating on the top half portion like so:

Will it be ok if I leave it like this, or should I do a weld repair? Thanks in advance. -Jake

I didn't know comptech makes a bolt on b pipe with resonator for our cars. If you don't mind how much did it cost? I would definitely have that re welded.

I would suggest to look at all the welds very closely. My B-Pibe broke two seperate times on either side of the clamp that holds the 2 sections together. Not to fun to have an exhaust draging on the interstate. The muffler shop I took it too ended up cutting the flanged connections off and welding it together with another section of stainless steel. Now mine is one big B-pipe but hopefully will not come apart again.

1foxbody- They actually stopped making the b-pipe a few years ago so your only hope in getting one is from the black market. New they were $600 I think.

They don't any longer. Was discontinued 2 or so years ago.

Weld it. It will leak. Another quality part from Comptech!

<--- has CT b-pipe. Needed to chop it and reweld it to fit properly.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will get it re-weld on that portion. Fitment shouldn't be a problem because the member I got it from had it on his CLS-6
