I do not know where this stuff comes from. I have had UR pulleys on my Accord i4 for years and there has been no problem at all except for a squeaky belt once in a while. And that problem is solved by spraying some WD40 or lubricant on there.

The real problem herein lies with the fact that people who think they know what they're talking about talk about harmonic dampening and other issues and confuse noobies and then the noobies believe everything they hear b/c they have do not have the info at hand to correct them. Please do not spread alleged accusations against UR pulleys unless you have evidence b/c you confuse/mislead others who we will say are not automotive savvy. Thanks.

Never got a dyno done however after the install there was a noticeable difference. The car seemed to reach redline quicker in each gear and some extra power could be felt throughout. It’s kinda hard to believe that the small amount of extra power that the Crank Pulley gives can be felt, but I can honestly say it was noticeable.

Also the UR Crank pulley is the only one out of the three that will yield any type of gains. The Power Steering and Alternator pulley are basically cosmetic.

Squeal/Chirp !!

Not a post about aftermarket pulleys, but while we're on the topic - anyone ever had problems with loud squealing/chirping from an 01 CLS ? Suddenly, about two weeks ago, my car starting making squealing/chirping noises. Worst with cold starts, seems to get quiter when warm but can occasionally flair up. I initially thought it was a bad belt, but I stuck my head under the hood and it sounds more like a bad bearing - a pulley bearing maybe ?

No, I am not referring to you as the one who spreads rumors. I was referring to you as the one who is mislead by other ppl who make up stories. In my experience the UR pulleys helped me rev out quicker; however this is on my Accord i4 turbo.
