Proud New Owner of a 2003 CL-S 6 Speed MT

Hello All,

I just purchased a Red 2003 CL-S. I love this car so far. The car is a GREAT step up from my last car which was a 2000 civic Si with alot of money invested. Still getting accustomed to the car but it drives well.

The car is bone stock and my first upgrade will me lowering it. I was thinking of Tein Basic Dampers. Any Suggestions?

Well thats my intro. I look forward becoming an active member on this forum

welcome. From one former SI owner to another... Great upgrade. I kinda miss the handling of my SI though, How about you?.. I haven't lowered the CL yet but people say that the basics are too soft an are made for the Accord..

Welcome to AZ!

Same here, went from my supercharged 04 Civic Si to the CL-S. Anyway, nice color/tranny choice! Is the interior ebony or parchment?

welcome. good choice on the 6 speed. tein basics are good if you plan on daily driving it. very close to stock feel. if you plan on any spirited driving you should step up to tein ss or other comparable coilovers.

What color is the interior? Dropping the car does wonders for the appearance from the front and rear, but I always felt they looked a little goofy dropped with stock rims. You should check out one of the millions of threads on XSpower headers (but don't start a new one), they will fit on the 6 speed and its a lot of bang for $97 shipped.

Excelerate and Marcus@heeltoe are within pennys of each other, you can find them in the black market of Azine.

Or you could search the web for hours and find out that no one is even close to their prices, then get them from Excelerate or Marcus@heeltoe

The black interior is nice (I'm SMR/parchment) if you end up replacing your shift knob, an aluminum one will match nicely with the rest of the trim, where as mine looks a little off with the wood trim.
