process to upgrade navigation with new DVD
Are there any specific instructions on how to upgrade the Navigation to a new version?
I came across a second hand copy but it didn't work by just replacing the DVD and turning on the car.
This would be a major update I am assuming, my old version was 2.02
Thanks!

That should work.
I’ve done it several times myself.
Just load the DVD up and it upgrades itself.
There are instructions that come up on the screen, but nothing major.
Just stuff like not moving or turning off the car during the update.

Pardon the ancient bump, but I've got a quick question.
I have a 2001, and the newer model/style Navigation is a LOT better looking than the maps on my Nav system. If I upgrade to the newest, is it just additional roads, or does the interface itself change to the sleeker, new style?
